Troubleshooting & FAQ

Solutions to common issues with connections, approvals, and data. If something isn't covered here, paste the error into Mojo chat, and it can usually diagnose issues on the spot.

Connections & integrations

My integration isn't connecting

OAuth flows can fail for a few reasons. Try these in order:

  1. Make sure you're authorizing with the right account. Log in with credentials that have access to the data you need, not a personal account or a limited-permission login.
  2. Check that your account has sufficient permissions. Some platforms (Salesforce, Marketo) require admin-level access. If your account is read-only, the OAuth may complete but Mojo won't be able to pull data.
  3. Try disconnecting and reconnecting. Go to Integrations, remove the connection, and re-authorize from scratch.
  4. Try a different browser or incognito mode. Cached credentials occasionally interfere with OAuth flows.

Mojo connected but says it can't find my data

Usually one of three things:

  • Permission scope issue. Your credentials authorized successfully but the account doesn't have access to the specific object Mojo is trying to read.
  • Wrong account connected. If you manage multiple ad accounts or Salesforce instances, Mojo may be connected to the one that doesn't have the data you're asking about. Check under Integrations.
  • The data doesn't exist yet. If you're asking for last month's LinkedIn leads and you only started running ads two weeks ago, there may genuinely be nothing to pull.

I connected Salesforce but it's asking me for a custom domain

This is expected. On the Salesforce login screen, click "Use Custom Domain" and enter demandbase. This routes your login to the correct Salesforce org.

My Marketo connection authorized but Mojo can't read my programs

Marketo requires API credentials with the right role permissions. If your connection authorized but data isn't coming through, check with your Marketo admin that the credentials used have API access to the programs, leads, and campaigns you're querying.

Approvals & write modes

Why is Mojo prompting me before taking action?

It depends on your active write mode and what Mojo is about to do. In the default Guarded mode, Mojo prompts before higher-risk or destructive actions. You can adjust this via the write mode picker in the chat composer.

ModeBehavior
Read-onlyNo writes. Data and analysis only.
Guarded defaultPrompts for sensitive and destructive actions. Low-risk writes run automatically.
TrustedPrompts for destructive actions only.
AutonomousAll writes execute without prompts.

What are the controls on an approval prompt?

  • Approve: execute this action now
  • Always approve for this session: execute now and skip the prompt for this specific action type for the rest of your conversation
  • Reject: don't execute; Mojo stops and waits for your next instruction

I approved an action but nothing happened

  1. Check for an error message in the conversation. Mojo will tell you if the action failed and why.
  2. Check your permissions on the target platform. If you can read data but not write it, the action will fail at execution.
  3. Check the platform directly. LinkedIn Ads and Google Ads can take a few minutes to reflect changes in their UI.

Can I undo an action Mojo took?

Mojo doesn't have a built-in undo, but most platforms support reversing changes. You can ask Mojo directly: "Can you reverse what you just did?" It will tell you what's possible.

Performance & results

Mojo's numbers don't match what I see in the platform

Small discrepancies are normal and usually come from:

  • Attribution windows. Platforms apply attribution differently. Mojo pulls each platform's native reported numbers.
  • Timezone differences. If your Salesforce org is Pacific time and your LinkedIn account is Eastern, "last 30 days" can produce slightly different ranges.
  • Data freshness. Some platform APIs have a reporting lag, typically 24–48 hours for some LinkedIn and Google Ads metrics.

If the discrepancy is large, check which account is connected, since it may be pulling from a test account or a different property.

Mojo gave me an answer but I'm not sure it's right

Ask Mojo to show its source: "Show me where that number is coming from." Mojo can trace a figure back to the specific query that produced it.

Memory

Does Mojo remember things between sessions?

Yes. Mojo maintains memory across sessions: things like your reporting preferences, timezone, how you like data formatted, and facts about your role or team. You can view and manage what Mojo remembers at Settings → Agent Memories.

I don't want Mojo to remember something

Go to Settings → Agent Memories and delete the memory directly. You can also tell Mojo in chat: "Forget that I prefer weekly rollups" and it will remove it.

Team & workspaces

Who has access to my Mojo workspace?

Your conversations and session memories are private to you. Shared resources (org Skills, shared workflows, shared integrations) are accessible to team members you've shared them with, or to your whole org depending on how they were set up.

Can I share a workflow or integration with my team?

Yes. Workflows and integrations can be shared with specific team members or your entire org. Look for the share option on any workflow or integration connection. Org admins can also configure org-wide shared connections.

Common questions

Does Mojo store my marketing data?

No. Mojo queries your connected tools live on each request, so it doesn't copy or warehouse your marketing data. Your data stays in your platforms. OAuth credentials are stored to maintain connections, but the underlying data is fetched at runtime.

Can I connect the same tool twice (e.g., two Salesforce orgs)?

Not currently. Mojo supports one connection per tool. If you need to switch which org or account is connected, disconnect the existing connection and re-authorize with the new credentials.

What does Mojo do with my approval when I say yes?

Mojo executes exactly what it described in the approval card, no more, no less. It doesn't infer additional steps or chain actions beyond what was shown to you. If you want Mojo to do more, ask in the next message.
